This Rose

My lips touch gently
the lips of this rose
and my eyes
see the beauty
that reminds me
of you

If a dream touches us,
it exists to us as anything
else that touches us.

I'll second that *sigh!*   A talented poet is one who can say so much in so few words, this was perfectly simple yet so beautiful!

Everybody loves the rose and when you find the beauty of a special woman in your life within it's petals then you have found one worth keeping.  Wonderful piece from you.  Yes, I do believe that you fit in quite well here.

A life with love will have some thorns, but a life without love will have no roses.
