As we walk, Hand in hand Down the quiet avenue, All I can think of Is you and your sweet presence. Nothing, except our parting, Could take me from this heaven During these precious minutes. The breeze brushes our faces, Leaving the purest air around us. Even in the worst storm, I know I am safe From all harm. The weather is always beautiful When I'm with you. I just cannot deny it-- All else seems trivial Compared to my time with you, My very first And most precious love. 'cause I am hanging on every word you say, and, even if you don't want to speak tonight, that's alright, alright with me... |
