Rebellious would be more polite
I am tired of being patient
impatience
Sometimes I just want to say it and not twist the words around cleanly

I am a sloppy painter because no one tells me to stay in the lines

No one tells me to be neat with the paint
Paint covers my body
NO one tells me to be clean

That is my own world,
I like it there without your rules

The words are not staying within the lines,
I am repeating out of order,
over using

I am not perfecting
I am not organizing
And the picture is not pretty,
But neither are the words

Why stay within the lines if it isn't you?  I wouldn't either and DON'T.  Wonderful way to express your thoughts and I am glad that I read.

"And the picture is not pretty,
But neither are the words"

that's one of those lines that's so good you think "why didn't i think of that?"
i'm adding this one to my library. inspiring. that's the only word that comes to mind.
i dig it. like, with-a-shovel-kind-of-dig-it.
