No. It's not a simple life.
There is no parity.
There is no rule, no measured speak...
and I've no clarity.
Everything of hurt, entwines...
Each raw nerve, touches the other.
Every hurt is amplified
and pride of cry is smothered.
All my pain and teeth in clench,
every restless moment spent...
every footstep towards the door
and every footfall back for more -
Oh damn my life! Be it undone...
I rock myself to sleep...
pounding head against the wall
to prove I can still weep.

I have to let it go, I know...
I must let this be.
Brave a trail of tears again -
to journey on my blistered feet.
Yet angels' choir of memory,
harmony of seraphim,
bewitchment of a blasphemy

damn girl!! get OUT of my head!!! NOW!!!

at first i thought 'footfall' was 'football' and i almost stopped reading... because football reminds me too much of this dude who used to snore in my living room for 9 years not watching it until i turned it off which woke him up so he could yell at me to turn it back on.... but this is just first and ten and i still have the whole field to get down so.... sigh.... anyway... loved this poem because my head hurts from all the wall pounding and i really needed to read this, this morning.... sighsighsigh...and well, that's about the sighs of it.... and i'm really glad i didn't stop reading...

Imagine that...you in JM's mirror.  Now that is enough to make you beat your head against the wall.LOL  Seriously my friend, you have a remarkable way of pulling the reader in and making them feel every word of your heart.  That is a talent that is to be admired and I DO.  Hugs to you.  (and yes, I love JM too.) Who couldn't.

Oh my, you are also living my life, I see.
Why does it hurt so much to let go?
Good luck

startime...(love yer name) but yes, and I am finding that pain is a very good indication of still being alive...with a grin, (hope ya knew that) and HUGS

doreen? I am glad the coffee kicked in midway..will have to work on the half time lethargy (oops, sorry, MORE football)  big hugs to you, and I've need to e ya or icq or SOMETHING...still...that last poem is running through my head.

JM...somehow, words are redundant with us...no need m'twin, no need. C'mere and hug me. Love to you.

m'angelheart...lol...is "lasso poetry" a new term? Let's make it stick. Love ya lots and glad that you are "home".

Sandra? sadly? I don't think I am even living MINE...but y'do what ya gotta do...Hugs to you also, and I'd tell ya it gets better, but YOU know that...it's just Hell, in the meantime.

Thanks to me most gracious forum.

When you can put it into words like that, my friend, you are definitely alive and mending.
And mending is what it's all about.
