Why Loves Touch?

I felt Love today
I could feel her sway
Why did she not stay?

I kissed Loves face
I lost true loves' race
Why the hectic pace?

Ask love to return
Don't let her me spurn
Why is she so stern?

If I plead my case
Will love see my face?
Can love my heart lace?

If Love holds my hand
I can once more stand
Will heart know Loves land?

Marsha

Circe, thank you muchly, they are great, but a little too hard for me I think. You know what a simple little soul I am, I might be able to juggle with time, but only just. This I found fun but tricky, but then I've tried those Haiku, thingy and as for Senryu, I can only spell it because Kari mentioned it. Still at least I stretched myself a little.   And I do enjoy a good stretch don't you?.
Take care

Kaile, thank you muchly, I find it somewhat easier to personify, but I know it's not that popular. Anyway thank you, I do appreciate it, truly.

Kari, Hi love   and it's a lovely Senryu too. Now you know what a weird school I went to. We only did womans history, so we did Florrence Nightingale, but not the Crimea War
We did Elizabeth Garrett Anderson but not Alexander Fleming. And so it went on, no wonder my veiw of history was so patchy. Oh and we did get greek mythology, which we enjoyed   Of course we did, it was the only bit of spice we were allowed.
Take care kid

Wonderful Whykus my friend as far as I understand them to be. You hit the count perfectly throughout and then penned a wonderful message in the beauty of your creation.

Mark my friend, thank you, truly, I'll take your word for it, but I didn't know they didn't have to rhyme. Which if nothing else shows that if there's a harder path to travel that's for me. I'm sure you could manage these perfectly, and Circe, seems to manage them easier than she does Acrostics.
I'm not sure if I could do these again, it's just we've had rather a lot of time doing nothing in this office. (Waiting for the power to return our systems to normal) So to keep my mind off being stuck here until I'd got us back on track, I did a bit of jotting. But they are really hard work for me, and I'm not really fond of that you know.   Anyway thank you lots, you know I really do mean that too.

Kethry love, yes you are far smarter than me, not that that would be difficult love. As far as I can work these things out, and I may well have it wrong. Each line is five syllables, three lines, totalling fifteen, and the last one is a question. And unlike mine they don't have to rhyme, but I didn't know that. I can't help it I come from a family of blondes, I'm not. (Where did my mam find me?)
So love, goooooo Kethry love! I'll wave my little flag and be the cheering section, and the applause too.

Cool, my muse and I will go off in a corner and practice, we'll come back when we get it right.
Could be a few day so don't hold your breath. Although I think you look just darling in that shade of blue, I would miss you too much
