Did You Know? < !signature-->Did you know that first time that you rocked my world? That all the stars and galaxies around me just swirled Did you know that when you first softly whispered my name? That this was for real, that I wasn't playing any game Did you feel the electricity flow from your soul to mine? Did you know at the start that all this would turn out fine? Did my lips know the wonder that your touch would bring? Did my soul know before you the songs that she could sing? Was there any sun in my sky and did the stars really shine? And did my heart know that you had laid claim to mine? Were there ever flowers that scented the air as I went on by? Did my soul ever before realise that she could soar this high? Were my eyes ever opened and did I ever truly see all of this? Did my spirit realise that your arms held such lovers bliss? Were there some secrets revealed when I looked in your eyes? Did my heart know before my head and give out satisfied sighs? Was there a glow about my spirit as your heart called out to me? And was the world really filled with such beauty for me to see Did your fingers know that they held such a magic touch? Did my heart know then that it would miss you so much? Was truth there for me to see it on that very first day? And if I knew would I have had the strength to say nay? Would I want to live without your love here in my heart? Wouldn't it have been better if this love didn't even start? But then I wouldn't have known the joy that fills my sight I wouldn't have the pleasure of walking within your light I know it's hard but I'd rather have just one moment of you Because without your touch I really don't know what I'd do My heart would be a desert I'd have lost my angels soft kiss I might have peace but it wouldn't make up for what I'd miss The world is bathed in beauty because of my love for you And unicorns and rainbows make all of my dreams come true I couldn't deny my heart, my love was evident from the start For without your love my life, my heart just simply falls apart And I can't regret this love that I know was destined to be I am complete at last, my soul, my heart belong entirely to thee Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning [This message has been edited by Marsha (edited 12-12-2000).] |

this was great amazing what love can do, what you didn't know you were missing till it arrives, and the pain felt when it's lost.... Wonderful |
