I see her dancing
on fallen leaves of Spring
as the wind trips through her hair
the laughter that she brings.
The elder daughter in the house
she cares for her sister with love
of course, Dave the cat is there
and recieves her affections as well.
Her strength comes from her mother
this you see within her eyes
her mind races with stories
I wonder if she got that from me.
But of all the things that she does
the one I do treasure the most
is when she stands tall to hug me
and that hug she does best.
