The Painter (For my good friend Aidan) His eyes hold visions of subtle beauty His mind filled with magical scenes Passion flows through is veins As the painter’s brush lightly caresses The soft delicate canvas Hazy images form and take shape As his hand commands the brush Bending lines and wisps To his own imperfect perfection To the love that burns his soul Working by light of the moon His strokes long and even Silent in the blackness of night He struggles to reveal his secrets To the world of the unseeing ~~Tara aka rp25 :o) |
