My ‘ol friend

Has anyone here seen my ‘ol friend
Elizabeth?
Can you tell me where she's gone?

She wrote a lot of people here
But it appears her words be fallen
I just looked around and saw

Something wrong

Something gone .......

Don't you love the things she stands for?
Hasn't she tried to find the good
   in you and me?
Don’t you see
She set us free
Someday soon
It's gonna be one day

But

Anybody here
know her dear departed
Can you tell her where he's gone

You know
I saw him walking up o'er
Yonder hill, talking with
Abraham, Martin and John

Writing isn't just something I do,
it's something I am. To write of
Feelings that touch all hearts in
some manner is my delight.
~Marge Tindal~

And YOU sure do

Through floods of tears I read this poem, enormously moving, and so true ...

And now I know why you've been shedding quiet tears across the study - (though I gave you a hug and a kiss on the back, I know better than to break into your train of thought, when you're writing from the heart) and neither of us knew that the other was working on a poem for Elizabeth at the same time!

Yours is far better than mine, so I'll let mine be.  Maybe another day...

Oh, Elizabeth, we both care so much!  God bless you and your children.

Father God,
I love the heart you've given me... And I could not say thank you enough for the heart of Rosemary... Though I don't know what she has written I think she should post it... just because it's for Liz..... and that's what I think..!

Lucky~
And I thank God for YOU !
Sending heartfelt hugs to you and Elizabeth and Rosemary.
This is such a warm and wonderful reminder
of why I find your work so compassionate.

*Yes, I agree -
Our Rosemary should post hers too.
Love to both.

Marge,
I am unable to find words just yet... for one as loving as you. My heart goes to you for all you've given us here... But I'm gonna find those words... You just wait.

Dale,
Thank you for the beautiful words.
I don't have adequate ones to return
You and Rosemary are two gentle spirits that I am privileged to know. In fact I am forunate to have the family of poets that have come to know each other intimately through poetry and the poetry says it all.
THank you, dear heart, this is so heartwarming
