Elizabeth's Song

Here doth passed a great romanticist
Seen by the very words that he kissed
When speaking rhyme of candles bright
That lit the darkest of this night…

And maiden she would hear thy song
To his side she swift ~ belonged
And whispered low in shadowed light
How his candelabra's song was ever bright.

He took her by her maiden's hand
To his ballroom now lit grand
With golden stems holding forth great light
And danced their dance all through this night.

Phantom of time looked down upon them
As he held her close in swirling spin
And when she chanced to look up at him
She found he'd become her dream ~ a whim.

For 'twas a dream, song of which thou wrote
By his very words to her heart did emote
The song of dreams that could come true
'tis how a poet works, with words for you.

Karilea
If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.

Tears stream down my face and words cease to
flow.....beautiful is the only word I have
to offer for there is no word that would do
this justice...or the poet it speaks from or
of~

Kari, this is truly exceptional, it is purely poetic delight. I have only one thing to say this is an angels song, this is a gift so precious that it humbles me. Truly outstanding it really is
Take care kid

Sunshine's candalabra's light
Spinning phantoms of delight
Poet's hand in poet's art
Paint's a picture from the heart
Does not this sweet verse recall
Love and beauty of it all

Exquisite, dear lady

And this poet works well, indeed!
