Neck to neck, shoulder to shoulder, struggling to make my way through the surging crowd, the sea of human heads almost inducing me to puke, It amuses me that we urban dwellers know not the means to keep ourselves occupied except mindless window-shopping |

Is it agoraphobia? I can't remember the term for fear of crowds. I'd bet at some of the sales, it's arachniphobia...as it seems like everyone else must have eight arms grabbing at just what you want. I've not had this experience yet this year. Haven't done very much Christmas shopping. You certainly presented the scene and its feelings well, though. |

OUCH the horrors of Christmas shopping. I can well relate to this. I think there should be a law against large crowds...LOL wonderful piece Kaile, this one really did send a shiver down my spine, but shopping is a deed that must be done, especially at Christmas. KM, im glad i dont but i do work in a cafe though  VAS, im not familiar with the terms either...will appreciate someone explaining such terms to this frog-in-well of course, the shopping must be done...just the large crowds kind of deter my high spirits though  thanx kit and dennis for your compliments bumping this up with yet another observation... christmas irony burdened with their large shopping bags and precious purchases, hardly anyone gives a second glance to the bored Boys Brigade boy who stands gallantly amidst the surging crowds, with his sign "it is more blessed to give" |

Poeple just can't wait to get out there and yell "CHARGE it"!! No more window shopping for me...I must have 300 windows in my house!  |

Yeppers..........that is why I am glad that I am done.........wrapped and ready to just EAT EAT EAT........oh, and of course sit back and watch as the rest of the town batters each other.
