"A Moment to Reflect"

Memories of this year play in my head
As a small smile crosses my face
Thinking of all the good that has ocurred
This love that I found...delicate as lace

Good times with the family
All as it should be
Knowing that my Angel in heaven
Is watching down over me

Peace finally found its way
To my home long last
Amazing to think 2001 is 'round the corner
Time has passed by so fast

Mountains I've had to climb
The battle has been uphill
Tears I had cried both of joy and pain
Broke the chains around my heart and allowed me to heal

Your sweet loving face set me free
Linda dear sis has returned once again
As relationships once thought over
Are able to now once begin

Angel high above
Smiling down on her family I know
As the love in my heart for those all around me
Forever it will grow

Graduation is over
The caps were thrown high
As to my college friends and life
I waived a tearful goodbye

New job I received
Excitement coursing through me
Finally coming out about my secret
Some things are meant to be

New friendships developed
Old friends saying farewell
Long last my time has come
As my ship sets to sail

Horizon looking bright
As love found its way into my heart
Once again allowing me to believe
Life given new start

Dad met new woman
Her love shines through everyday
As the pain of losing my Angel eases
Blue skies replace gray

2001 what shall you hold for me
Christmas time now, as family draws near
For now tomorrow can wait
As all that matters, is the now and here

Merry Christmas to everyone and a very Happy
New Year! Love you ALL

~amy~

SweetAmy~

This year has not only been
special just to you ...
It's rainbowed us with your friendship
in lovely assorted hues

May you know the happiness
that comes to spend a while
upon your shoulder,
in your heart ...
resting with a smile.

Congrats on that 2000th post, gal !
It's a super-duper delight.
