Pressing Connections

I can look through that window of your mind,
sometimes your thoughts overflow and reach me.
Other times they touch me in such a way
that my heart can skip it's beat,
Not out of passion, but fear unknowing.
You press the connections, my nerve endings,
until they meet and rise to a warmth,
Sometimes wondering why I have never felt before,
the intensity of such... A longing, a desire, lustfulness?
Not so, a pureness developing, a higher level of loving,
one that presses, connects to one another
Sending a current throughout, a flowing constant
to someday fill an empty heart...

~Wynter

A higher level of loving, yes, that should be the goal of every relationship! This is lovely, Wynter!

Lovely!  Vibrant and yet tender.  Ah, to fill an empty heart, a prime reason for living.

Good morning nakdthoughts,

A'hhh, to only fill an empty heart must be a fulfilling moment when it happens. But perhaps that time will come again. Wonderful writing that I have read this morning.

One "flowing constant" is your writing, and I love it!
