Someone Left An Angel

Someone left an angel on top a Christmas tree,
An ornament of hope neglected aimlessly...
It must have been a child who left her there in haste
To forget such treasure was certainly a waste.

I thought in my conscience how I might write the lore
If I could save angels, how would my ego soar...
But as I stood in gaze, a bum came passing by
And the fallen angel in beauty caught his eye.

He grabbed the precious nymph and placed her in his sack
And walked away in glee without e'er looking back...
Now, you may ask yourself, "Why did I write this poem?"
Simply for this reason, all angels need a home.

Wonderful job, Bob that we keep the real spirit of Christmas alive and in our hearts. Also, once I experienced such a angel, who was masked as a bum, standing outside a church. I am now led to write and share this beautiful experience, thanks to you.

All angels need a home, and that they show up in the most unexpected places is their gift to us...

never doubt where an angel resides...

but only hope to always have one with you...

And some angel has blessed your pen sir.  What a wonderful write from you.  Now I would never wonder why you wrote this or any other poem as inspiration comes as it will.

This blessed me, thank you!

What is that you express in your eyes? It seems to me more than all the words I have read in my life.
