inspired by James...Annies Dance

Suddenly..the music stops
your arms.. no longer around me
my heart beats constantly
to the harmony of our love

each step we have taken
is another step towards us
your lips have awakened
the senses of my dreams

because the dance is over
my hand still entwines yours
our fingers interlace
our hearts gallop in pace
two goblets of Chardonnay
near sheets ...satin and lace
i can hardly wait
to dance again in your embrace

            ~Victoria~

Evening Victoria,

This is lovely, especially liked the following;

because the dance is over
my hand still entwines yours
our fingers interlace
our hearts gallop in pace
two goblets of Chardonnay
near sheets ...satin and lace
i can hardly wait
to dance again in your embrace
