The PoetLady

Within the allure of fantasy night
The LadyPoet weaves her tales of rhyme
Bittersweet remembrances perhaps of times ago
Or a once upon love that touches her soul

Some say the glitter of ink from that of her pen
Are gentle flutterings of her butterfly wings
Others perceive her passionate pleas
As whispers of a soul echoing to be freed

In the scroll of her tender words
The LadyPoet knows not much of its worth
Yet those words so feverishly she does write
Releasing breathless sighs and abandonded tears at night

Into a world to others unknown
Journeying her mind and soul of her home
To embrace the words of the LadyPoet
One must feel the love and joys as their own

Dare the flight and take hold of her hand
Into a land of dreams and passion romance
Beyond treetops her spirit will soar
With baited breath you await for more

Laid unto a leaf branch of amber and green
The LadyPoet shares of her beauty unseen
Within the embrace of your loving arms
To know her heart just read her rhymes...
Coco

Personal Note
This poem is dedicated to all the PoetLadies
Who I treasure as friend
And who share with me their tears and dreams...
May you know just how cherished you are
Today and forevermore...

Psst... Wilfred I thank you for this challenge

I am speechless - truly - you've created a piece of beauty - in words, graphic, form and thought - I personally believe this belongs in the Magazine.

PAULA, my dear lady you warm my heart with such appreciation you extend to me in the wee hours of nite and I thank you once again my friend

WILFRED, you're just too cool for words to express how your poetry inspires many a thought and emotion and I owe you for this challenge...

Now I put my pen to rest so I may return to reading the poetry of all my friends...

See ya later sweeties
