if you think
my dreams are only of you
         of us...
hand in hand
   heart to heart
strolling life's sandy beaches...

if you think
you're always on my mind
         in my heart...
touching me
    holding me
safe in warm lover's embrace...

if you think
i can only be happy
         with you...
validating
     loving
completing my very soul...

if you think...

then
    think again
my dear

for
    in reality...

you
are merely
      a
         fragment

of
    my
         imagination

Well darn it anyway.  ONLY a fragment of your imagination huh?  And to think all this time I thought I was special.  Oh well!!!!!   Very nice write my friend, even if I did get put in my place.

What a declaration of independence you have written here!  Good for you, Vicky!

"fragment"... did you mean figment?

and if you really mean't "fragment" that means she's just a "part" of your imagination....

what are you "really" trying to communicate? (just curious) (in a friendly..)
cus I really loved everything up the the last line then i said.. (huh?)

sometimes its the love we imagine and find in the fantasy that is the one that we fall for...
very cool poem Vicky....
I really like the way you presented this ...
it was like falling along with the words...
well written reflections
creative and unique
take care

Wow!  What a surprise ending.  I was so certain it was going to be, 'Well, you're right!'

Powerful piece!

Vicky~
How totally cool !
I just loved the unique ending -

'you
are merely
      a
         fragment

of
    my
         imagination'

Not a made up part - but a small, detached and broken part ...
that is just such an original thought.

Love the way your mind works ! !
