~Muse of a Lifetime~

Your love sets my quill in motion
Inspired by unwavering devotion
One touch upon your velvet flesh
Causes verse to flow and mesh
~*~
Passion that makes ink wells smolder
Each line contrived brazen and bolder
Your embrace causes stanzas to interlace
Beauty and motion of effortless grace
~*~
A tear upon your face slices woven pain
Upon the pages they are carefully lain
Times apart flow like crystal thread
Falling softly...soaking their linen bed
~*~
You inspire cadence in my veins
Wrapping the threads of golden skeins
You enkindle the flames to dance
By the light of a burning trance
~*~
As I prepare to lay this pen to page
With the waves of weave we engage
For within my thread of golden rhyme
Lays my muse.....the muse of a lifetime

And such a beautiful muse he/she has become.  Yes, I do believe he/she carries with him/her the wings of an angelic butterfly for sure.  Beautifully penned once again my friend.  Just love how your poetry is growing as of late, not that it was ever lacking anything at all.< !signature-->

Oh, my Butterfly, this is another poem that can make an old body wonder if such love and feelings are real!  You live in a different world than me.  I am happy with your happiness.

Holly,

So nice to see you writing of love and life.  That muse of yours is going strong these days.  I hope she never stops.  Beautiful, butterfly.

You've left me in a state of "speachless".
Everything about htis piece is awesome, rhyme, meter & flow, the meaning behind it.
It's beautifully penned, you're muse is doing you well.
