Just A Little Sprout
~*Marge Tindal*~

When Brussel was a little sprout
he beat upon his chest
" When I am all fully grown
I will be the best ! "

He hurried through life's garden
and caught the Jolly Green Giant's eye
the potential in this sprout's appeal
was appealing to this guy

" Ho !  Ho !  Ho ! ", said the giant of a man,
" How'd you like to be
an advertising legend
and come to work for me ?"

Well, Brussel was fairly honored
and agreed so merrily
He grew to star-studded fame
and became a symbol of quality

So the next time you see
that Brussel you can't do without
Just remember he started his claim to fame
as just a little sprout !

*MarkB~
This one's for you !
I know how you love brussel sprouts and spam !
*wink*

Oh my dear sweet lady of the range......you knew the title if not the poet would draw me to read and I am so very glad that I didn't sign off yet.  Yes, I do love those wonderous little green gems of loving taste and I thank you from the bottom of my heart and my stomach for this one.  Now they say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, but most assuredly, the way to a cowboy's heart is to pen a poetic beauty filled with those little leafy teasings that come wrap so tight and are filled with wonderfully unique flavoring that only they can hold.   Going in my library for sure so that I will never go hungry again for them or for you. Big "Jolly Green" hugs my sweet friend for this one.

Marge, another one of your fantastic fun little metaphors me thinks, you've done a great job, I can't help but smile at the thought of that little sprout . All I can say is that if he runs that fast, he better be careful that he doesn't trip and bruise, that would end his life fast . Loved it, you've used your talent well .
Thanx .

Marge-
   LOL...this is too cute...
I knew immediately that this had
to be for our cowboy friend, and
   sure enough it is...
I've never known anyone else who has
the love and dedication for these
   little sprouts that Mark does..lol.
This is just perfect for him..

Hey, Margie girl, I beg your pardon
But who can write about a garden
And some little brussel sprout
No one can seem to do without
That tastes so good next to a ham
And, not to mention hunks of spam
And make the whole thing sound sincere?
Only you can, MArgie dear!!!!

Marge girl, this is terrific, I giggled insanely throughout this, the MBOOPAS were just about to call the Psych doc on call when I showed them and then they all started laughing too. So missy you are responsible for stopping the office for close on 30 mins, but it's okay Marge I won't tell them it was you.    I loved this one I really did. Daphy says that she loves sprouts too, but she may be exagerating a little.
Great work love, really great work.
Take care
