What do you do when the
only person that can make you
stop crying...is the one that
made you cry?

What do you do when in his
arms is the only place that
feels right...but he isnt
there to hold you?

What do you do when in
his eyes is the only place
you see love...and he doesnt
look at you anymore?

What do you do when your
heart belongs to him and
only him...and he gives it back?

What do you do?

I'm afraid I'm not so graceful...but, I do whatever it takes to be happy again, (which sometimes gets me into MORE trouble...sigh)

I get trashed. I write bad poetry. And sooner or later? Stupid me falls in love again.

Hugs to you, Paula...one from the heart and one I well understood.

Tough questions Paula, I'd say just enjoy the pain while it lasts and then move on.  Beautiful poem.

You cry, you hurt, you think, you scream, you vent, you search, you find, you heal, you keep going.
And, apparently, you write beautiful poetry.
But you don't forget.

Paula~

this was heartbreaking and very moving.
unfortunately, i really don't have an
answer to your painful questions. the only
thing i can say is you believe in yourself
and you turn to those you trust, your
friends and family and the Lord. I pray
things get better for you and your pain
begins to ease. take care my friend.

You find the love in your own heart that you shine so well with and make your day shine no matter what.  There is no easy answer to this question if any answer at all, but time does heal if nothing else.  Wonderful write from you.

Paula, this is a painful read as my eyes fill with tears upon these words you've written....

I was told by a sweet wise man that to live life you gotta feel the joys and pains it brings you and I must say it isn't an easy thing to do but somehow I keep that thought in my mind and let time ease the pain to pass....

Hugs2u4x cus you're a sweetie thas why
Psssst...you just inspired me to write a rhyme

Paula,
This is so sad. I guess my best advice is to reach out to a friend, I am here. If he really loves you he will come back. Love does returns.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

Paula now you have me thinking about something that happened to me ten years ago...and I need to remember this every now and then...a woman very dear and precious to me left me and more than anything that has ever happened to me in this world I desperately tried to regain our relationship to no avail...and I didn't know what to do except live in my pain and sorrow...and the answer was always...just go on...James

Oh, I've been there.  I've been there.  My heart reaches out to you with care.

Beautiful poem.  So sadly poignant and haunting.  I'm so sorry.

Are there any answers?  Perhaps, but only when one finds them.

>What do you do when the
>only person that can make you
>stop crying...is the one that
>made you cry?

What can I do?
To make her smile again
to give her this thing back
that I don't own?
My heart says friend
but is so damned silent
when it should say lover

>What do you do when in his
>arms is the only place that
>feels right...but he isnt
>there to hold you?

What can I do?
When I know that being close
just hurts her so
why is there a wall now
where once was trust
why is my heart a traitor?
on me, on her?

>What do you do when in
>his eyes is the only place
>you see love...and he doesnt
>look at you anymore?

What can I do?
When in her eyes I see the pain
that I inflict right on her soul
I look away, cause I feel inside
that nothing I can say or do
will make her feel whole again
can't give back what I've lost

What can I do?

I've always been the one who was left behind and most times this hurts like hell but the one who is leaving sometimes carries
a hurt as well.

Very good poem, hope you'll find your own answer to these questions!

Take care
Björn

Paula, with all that good advice, you sure don't need any from me, the one in the same sinking boat.
The poem is wonderful, the feelings poignant and so hard to live with.
If you really find out what to do, let me know.
