NO Words

Where can I find the words to say what’s truly in my heart
The thoughts that flow not from pen nor silent lips impart
A task so overwhelming for the limits of the mind
The words of gold so precious, so impossible to find

How can I measure gratefulness that dwells so deep within
No scale could hold the weight of all the love I’ve taken in
So infinite a count that would define the stars at night
So boundless is the width and depth that holds my heart’s delight

I cannot grasp the distant ring that dangles out of reach
And fumble in my eagerness and truly do beseach
That God will grant me wisdom in my search that far transcends
A simple humble THANK YOU for your love, my poet friends

You led us into a world, Lady Santos, that we would have been left bereft without ever knowing, had it not been for your words and lovely imagery...I want to thank you for sharing Tony and your love of him in your work...

You, my Lady Santos, will always have the final word...

thank you for being you ... and the lessons learned from your example.

Elizabeth,
There was no need for words, but the ones you found were a bouquet to be cherished.

A poet without a word?
My gosh, Liz, that's absurd!
The words that you have penned
Do more than make amends
For all the joy you bring...
No need to say a thing......

My dear lady Liz,  your grace and incredibly uplifting spirits have been such an inspiration to me!

When I feel lost and down, now, I think of you, and your courage, and I am enormously inspired.

I know that it is God Who gives you the strength, but I am awed by you nevertheless.

And in the depths of the night, if tears drip cold into your ear, as they do into mine, know that I am praying for comfort for you.

The spiritual wind that holds survivors aloft, plants the seeds from which bloom new hope ... R.J.G.

No additional words can I say that haven't been said - my sincereest regrets I couldn't traverse even the short distance that separates us geographically - You were (and are) the first I read most often here - and I treasure the quality of your well-turned phrases! [[[hugs]]] to you

Hi Liz,

My dear sweet friend, this poem is so wonderful and I think it conveyed what you wanted it to so very well. Liz you are a inspiration to so many here at passions and to me well your kind words and enouragement has given me belief in myself and in my work. What you have endured and come out of so loving still to all is  to me truly genuine love for fellow man. You are pure encouragement, strength magified, to me and a truly awesome example of a loving person and if any thing I thank you so much.

Love, Cerenity

When words are hard to find
when they do not come to mind
it's likely that there are no words
to express the ties that bind.

Perhaps one is just simply to allow
a heart to take into itself
life's words of love for now.

You've expressed so very well
your enigma of these days
just pillow yourself and clothe yourself
in the fabric that each of us now prays.

If I were to start thanking you for every time you've touched me with your graciousness or warmed my heart with your insights or amazed me with your beautiful poems, I'd be talking forever... and while talking non-stop isn't beyond my capability, I'd like to vary my verbosity every now and then. *G*
That said: 1) You're welcome, 2) Thank YOU, and 3) You are much loved. *S*

Love and Prayers to you Liz ...

There is a Light Ahead

Though darkness may surround you,
Hiding visions of the light,
Enveloped in the depths of sorrow,
Raise your thoughts this night.
Eternal life shall grace your soul,

If only you believe,
Such beauty waits in silent gifts,

Around a soul that grieves.

Lifted by the spirit,
In a prayer for evermore,
Gently carried skyward,
Heaven waits with open door.
Trust in faith to see you through,

All obstacles and strife,
Heavy though your burdens now,
Eternal is this life.
Ahead there lies a brilliant light, our goal to reach toward,
Dwelling ever after, in the presence of the Lord.

/Kit McCallum

Many hugs to you, dear friend ...

All the words you will ever need are shown in the beauty of your works and the sincerity of your replies.  Hugs and warm wishes to you my friend.  There are the prayers every night and the thoughts to go along with them.  Don't ever doubt that, just take care of you and the rest will come in time.

I've known, but it has been more clear to me recently that Passions is really a forum for the heart of people. It's a haven for family and friends and poetry, really, it's a sanctuary.  God bless you.

What is that you express in your eyes? It seems to me more than all the words I have read in my life.
