The Songs Of Passions

Friends
Part 2

Sven is our in house artist painting pictures of us one and all
His poems are portraits lovingly portrayed, a gallery in our hall
He brings a sense of colour, he sparkles with charm and style
With expert phrasing and perfect time he is our poetry file
His writing brings us joy and is a wonder for us all to behold
Paint on Sven our friend, paint our colour so bright and bold

Dgvarner writes poetry that flows like streams of living light
Her poems flow so wonderfully they're like birds in flight
She writes of life in all its textures, with its ups and downs
With an eye for detail she shows the smiles and also the frowns
Her gift to us is clarity she shows us the truth inside of us all
Speak to us Dee our friend we listen and we can hear your call

Kit writes words that are a reflection, the mirror image of her
She has a tender heart and her poems cause our hearts to stir
Her words are always ever truthful and she can turn a phrase
When she writes there beauty flows and I could listen for days
Her poetry is a gift, which she shares with pure love and hope
Write on Kit our friend without our tender Kit we'd never really cope

Marties' words strike a cord within her readers' souls and heart
She writes of life and its nature, how souls shouldn't be apart
Her poems flow freely soothing souls that need loves pure touch
She shows us, how through ignorance, we all miss far too much
Her words show us how fortunate we are to count her as our mate
Guide us Martie our friend you show us that love is never too late

Balladeer writes works that are most definitely his and his alone
He inscribes with his own skill and it has his sound and tone
His words are a wonder and something we enjoy feasting on
If his words were a banquet, this feast would be noisy and long
His poetry is as individual as is the style that he's made his own
Feed us 'Deer our friend and with it serve some Cotes de Rhone

Aimister writes straight from her angelic and totally honest heart
She writes of loves blessing and how love won't ever fall apart
Her words are always truthful she always writes of what she feels
Amy writes of love and how heartache by loves pure touch heals
Her words are wings that show us how we too with her can fly
Take wing Amy our friend and we shall meet you there up high

Daniel J D poems show us the light whenever our hopes grow dim
His words of faith remind us that we should look always to HIM
His poems flow like a river of faith and love that will ever last
Telling us that we should stop trying to live forever in the past
His talent is clear and it shows in every line that here he writes
Light the way Daniel J D our friend illuminate our dark nights

Another wonderful tribute to some very worthy poets within our walls my friend and president.  Your pen and your heart continue to glow.  Now how did we get to slushy?

Mark my friend, thank you very muchly, that was such a sweet compliment, and I do appreciate it truly. As for Slushy it's a nickname Kethry gave me, when I was talking about getting soaked once. Well, living here it seems to have rained for all eternity, I might be exaggerating just a little but not much. Well I think that's why is was.
I'll ask Keth she'll remember my heads like a sieve.
Anyway thanks a lot, your Pres.

Sven you like it? I'm so pleased, I hope it conveys just a little of what esteem and love you are held in these pages. Because you are truly.
Take care
