Memories...

Do you know the sadness I feel
when reading the past, of our words?
Do you know of the loss that is deep
when silence is all that is heard?
From the depths that you stole,
of the warmth that was shared,
to the beats of a heart, once in whole...
All that remains, is a shell, filled with want
hurting, and frozen in hold.

Does it matter that once, in you I had found
the trust, someone who did care?
Or maybe it's me you had sought, instead,
For the innocence laid open and bare.
And left were the learnings, you taught, oh so well.
but also the lacking of true.
Do you really know what results when one's left,
with only the memories of you?

Ah Wynter...souls are talking...

If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.

Karilea...I guess I am having that bit of meloncholy as the holidays begin to approach and I am listening to beautiful music... of a time that should be filled with happiness.

They are our memories only ... only we can choose how to remember.

Well written.  Well remembered.
