The soft sigh of morning brushes through
the newborn foliage, stirring the azure
morning mist with soft hands that
twirl about, catching the tips of flowering
buds rising from the ground

As dawn approaches with careful tread
the floor of nature flows with movement
as the darkness recedes from the shallows
and niches, taking with it the cooling
dew and stillness of the night

Flitting moths find their daylight bosoms
in the bark of ageless grating oaks
while the sounding of jabbering loons echoes
across the lake, falling against immobile
rocks lining the lapping shore

All is never still, even in the brief silences
of spring breezes that sweep the sounds
from my ears, but then return again in
whispers of melodies that to most
always remain unheard

The solace of tranquility involutes and
passes through all my senses, as I gather
the strands and threads from the gifts
that this morning gives to those
who have the patience to listen

*sigh* such a vision of beauty you have woven here, my friend. I love every word of it as I stopped, saw and listened to the vision you wove. Much love to you from me.

Love I leave with you my friend whether it be in your life or of yet the essense of your dreams. http://path2riches.com

You brought me there still yet again...I absolutely adored this:

"Flitting moths find their daylight bosoms
in the bark of ageless grating oaks..."

that was not only a very vivid visual for me, but also a fitting metaphor..lol, and...

curious, did you write all THREE of these tonight?  Wow...
