You say my name and it sounds sweeter then it is. You touch me and I want to cry with an emotion I don't know how to tell you about. So what if I can't see your face at night... I always see it in my dreams. How can I tell you I love you when I don't know if I really do. What is love, anyway... besides a confusing emotion I hate and can't get rid of because I really don't want to. You danced with me once... And I fell. You arms around me leading the steps continue to hold me up... And I do think I love you for it. "In sleep he sang to me...in dreams he came...that voice which calls to me, and speaks my name..." |

Yes this is true...also true that caring for some one can give us a magic carpet ride or a ride into hell...we must carefully connect to the right one if we want to experience love...in most cases only a friendship would be a better choice...James |

AngelOfMusic, Welcome to Passions  With that out of the way.. I liked this poem Love can be alot of things.. simple, complicated, easy, hard... but confusing sums it up quite nicely..hehe. James-Remember that song by Garth Brooks- "I could have missed the pain but I'd have had to miss love's dance?" Just remember that- Anyways, I LOVED this poem- dancing can be so gentle at times and set up the perfect atmosphere... Time flies? Say it not so, time stays we go. |
