He Called Me Erin

and I had to
quietly laugh
because
I had not seen
the movie

and I wondered
if I were like her

the only similarity being
what I do
and
what she finally
got involved in

and believe me
what she got involved in
will take one over

the search for truth

so I watched the movie
and thought of him
calling me Erin
and I am Oh so not like her
in most ways

but I am like her
in my love of the work
that I do

I am not like her
in many ways
just in tenacity
to see things through

so in that, I am Erin
in his mind

as I sense a tensile strength
in the tenacity
of searching

for truth

and someday
I think I shall find "it"
and "it" will
please me greatly

So for him,
I shall be Erin
in his mind

knowing he thinks
I
am
"it"

Kari, this is outstanding, it is truly, it has flow, style, and I love it. Kari, you do it again and again, you never fail, this is superb.

I've never seen the movie, but I know he is a lucky guy.

Karilea-
you're the second Paralegal -I've come across in my life - the other while I was 'tween marriages - a more demure (LOL) friend I bicycled with in my local bike club
- but if I called you Sheryl you'd have no movie - but If he called you 'Erin' even if there's no other likeness than tenacity - I'd consider it a great compliment - were it I.

Kari, yes love I did, but I get to see all sorts of odd films. (It's when I do the graveyard shift, well we have to have something to watch. So I took in my telly.) You didn't expect me to work constantly surely,   good grief! What ever next, and you are like her, I can see the resemblance, just a little bit.
Take care,

(Goodness Kari, you don't expect me to work as well as be there do you! As if!!)
