I wrote this poem for the man I'm going to marry.  He definitely caught me!

Free Fall

Standing on the edge
Discovering fears deep inside
The swirling abyss lies before me.
Beckoning,
Taunting,
Calling my name.

Slowly moving forward,
Hanging on with both hands, my eyes closed.
Afraid to slip,
Afraid to see.

A leap of faith:
Plunging into the unknown.
Total release.
Complete surrender.
Flying free.
Falling fast.
No holding back.

Knowing you’ll be there to catch me.

Tara, I enjoyed each word, as you caused me to think of my own love...Thanks for sharing this piece again.

Sven, trust me, I'm holding on to him.  The smile hasn't left my face in weeks and my ex husband has accused me of being "giddy".   )

Ethome, thank you!
