Deer

Yes I'll be very kind to you,
I'll give you more than you are due,
An extra anchor, maybe two,
When you walk the plank.

I'll prick you lightly with my sword,
As you proceed ever toward,
The end that is your just reward,
Now get out on that plank!

Ruthlessly you ply your pen,
Wooing, pleasing, tempting them,
Breeding jealousy in all us men,
You'll look wonderful on that plank.

Your wimpy ways with the fairer sex,
That leaves them patting their fair breasts,
Truthfully, I must confess,
Is why I want you on that plank!

But LngJhn, what happens when you accidentally fall off with him? Should I cry, or laugh twice as hard? Hee hee hee. Nice write, very amusing.

Welcome back LngJhnAg, I have a feeling Mr Deer will skip the walk with you. He just can't help sweet talking the women. There are those who do and those who just talk about it. I wonder which he is

LongJohn's back and it's gonna get funny
hey nah, hey nah...LongJohn's back!

LJA
if you would take a clue
to look inside of you
pull out that clever wit
use a little part of it
weave a song that wends its way
into the heart of passionate fray
then you too would have no worry
so please do write so, and hurry...

If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.

Dear Dear Saxon Lady - as an old sea dawg, do you really think I would actually get out there on the plank with that rascal?  Especially if the plank was pointing windward?  erk!  Additionally, I hope you would cry!

Inot - You wonder which he is?  A talker or a doer?  C'mon!  He's a talker!  Look at his forlorn picture, fer cryin' out loud!  What woman could ever get close to that homely critter?  Now, go look at MY picture.  See what I mean?  heh heh

Karilea - Wild thing!  You make my heart sing.  You make everything, yummy (or something like that).  Thank you for your encouragement.

Kethry - Yes.  I must confess.  I couldn't stay away from all you lovely, wonderful, soft, pleasing, woo-hoo-ey women.  Thank you for not forgetting me, like so many of these other barracudas in here did.  I know now who I might have a chance with. quick, ol' Long John - write down their names before they delete their posts

Such merriment weaved within these lines!
Now, you really wouldn't DO this to Balladeer would you?  I mean, surely you would rescue him at the last minute?   < !signature-->

What is that you express in your eyes? It seems to me more than all the words I have read in my life.

don't talk that way about Balladeer
he hand his penn with grace my dear
yeah I like to be kind to him my friend
his words are sweet and he present
a noble man with a gentle heart
and deserves a lovely reward
so if you don't mind
leave that plank behind
and take it as a man
step out that silly plan
well smile at him my dear
shake hands with Balladeer.

you'll walk 'Deer upon the plank? you
say he'll drown? LongJohn, well spank you!
that's not nice, you know it cruel!
i should take you back to school!
you are quite an evil prankster
threatening the 'Deer with planks, sir!

i knew you did not like kitties
from your nasty little ditties
written 'bout desires for kicking -
sly and slick, your ploys try tricking
gentle, kind, and giving persons!
with each pome you write, it worsens!

i tell you what, you nasty sailor -
pandora's HOT, her feet won't fail her!
if you take the 'Deer a plankin',
he will be quite happy, thankin'
you for leading him out walking --
i'll be waiting there, cat-docking!

when he falls off in the ocean,
i will save him, i've the notion...
pandora's soft fur can protect him
from the sea, as you reject him!

My gracious thanks to Rose, Charisma and my great friend Pandore for their unwavering devotion

As for you, LongJohn....

Your words will never make me bitter
The whole world knows that you're a quitter
Who sleeps at night in kitty litter
That's what we all know.

You'd like to be known as a stud
Although you look like Elmer Fudd
Let's face it, dude, you're just a dud
And you flirt just for show.

It's true your jabs are never done
Too bad your jokes are never fun
Cause Lorelei's the clever one
You're ballast...don't you know?
