Hand In Hand
Karen Torbiak
2000

Hand in hand we walk the pages
in a world of faceless strangers
whose emotions light the blank screen
filling hearts with wonderous art

Words of beauty, words of passion
all shared with us who feast on life
feeling deep within our spirit
the perfection of each poem read

We travel the world in one page
and marvel at the scenes they paint
as we see through eyes now open,
places and people never met

Learning through the poems painted bright
with hearts in love or hurt by pain
we know these people who we share
our heartfelt word from writer's pen

Hand in hand we walk the pages
of each person's soul revealed
and love them from our deepest self
freely offering sweetest love

Love I leave with you my friend whether it be in your life or of yet the essense of your dreams. http://path2riches.com

Yes, we do and as some would be honored to be published, and it is a good thing, nothing is more meaningful than reading another poet's words upon the screen, knowing that they wrote them for us. It is an honor to read the words of so many poets who touch us daily from deep inside, when they are hurting, scared, lost, sorrowful or just plain joyous with the expectancy of a new love.  It is something I believe that keeps poetry alive and keeps all of us alive.

What is that you express in your eyes? It seems to me more than all the words I have read in my life.
