Over the sounds of an empty room
I heard Enjoy the Silence,
only Marty was singing it
and he was playing with a gun.

Distant rain, a memory
like the first time I saw my face in glass.
When I was beautiful.

The organ was hushed, dim,
but not funereal.

"All I ever wanted."

One of those moments where you draw close to the soul with appreciation for the things that are and were ...very well done!! ... with the organ not relating to a funeral then I could feel the depth of the internal calm.. oh yeah I really enjoyed this!!

You've got my head whirling in implication...or is that speculation?

An incredible piece of puzzle! (I know, I know, I've been asleep at the wheel again, my humble apologies...)

And lovie? if you need a reflection of your own beauty...read...m'friend, read, your own work. It is all there.

ethome and S'en,
Get the "enjoy the silence" ep by Depeche Mode, and you will understand.   Glad you enjoyed.
