Today we said good-bye After only a few brief encounters I know it is for the best For both, your heart and mine For a moment I felt like crying Then I realized a truth That we had the chance to teach each other And we learned that we could still love Though we can't be together You will always have a place in my heart And we'll always have our memories That only you and I share Ones that no one can take away And that is special on it's own I'm glad that we can part as friends And still talk, soul to soul It's seems a bittersweet end to me That we know how we feel But still can't be together Yet we both know what it would mean If we ever really were So take this....  One last kiss And hold it close to your heart For you will always have a place in mine |

Saying good-bye is never an easy thing to do for anyone. Take care. Thank you Elizabeth, Jen and Wynter...As I said before this wasn't easy to write or come to terms with, but I realize how tough being together would have been...for both of us....and I know that this is the right thing to do...Life does go on...and I will always have my memories of "us" |

Jeff~ a very difficult piece i'm sure to write...but you did so with elegance and grace. i'm sorry that things did not go as planned. but hold onto the memories and the lessons learned from this. those will last a lifetime and maybe just maybe you and this special person will find your way back to one another. never give up the hope, but eventually you will move on with heart and soul intact. take care. ~amy~ |
