Last night I cried and you brushed away
the first teardrop.

Your anger grew and then you did not care about
the next teardrop.

We talked awhile and I thought that I saw
your first teardrop.

You ended our love right then and there
with only one teardrop.

Now I know that my love is gone as I cry
my last teardrop.

I remember the day that I wrote this Startime, it was a painful day.  I thank
the powers that be that the day is past.
Thanks for reading.

Gentle Spirit,

Such pain and sorrow in this one my friend.  I am glad to hear that day is past.  I hope you never have to feel this way again.

I am glad that you've come through this grief, for the strength now shows that you can share it...

well done!

Excellent use of the form GS. . . it's not one that you see a lot. . .

And the words, wonderful. . .

Lone Wolf, as I also am glad that day has passed.  I hope no one ever has to feel this way!!  Thanks.

Sunshine, sometimes getting passed the pain ends up in written words.  Thank you for reading mine.

Ah Sven, it is good to see that you are familiar with the form.  It is not the easiest challenge I have
ever done, but the challenge came at a good time when I could make the words work in the form.
Thanks.......
