it looks like the same old town the sky still looks like rains the same old ground the same old streets your address hasn’t even changed I can find you there with your door locked tight a fence around your yard and your wishes remind me of yesterdays harm yeah even yer same ‘ol whiskey and same ‘ol wine helpin’ ya pass your liabled nights yet you really haven’t sanctioned any such evidence that’s true yet your prose is born in light yet maybe you should’ve left maybe found another someone more than I sure should’ve got you or was I just someone you never could forget in passing would ya tell me now if that’s true or should continue I and guess . Sheesh, I can't even remember posting this... Ther must of been something in that Sprite besides bubbles. But thanks Bill, Martie, ethome. I think I'll just stick to water for awhile. dale |
