Between My Thoughts

I kiss the memory tonight
as you lay between my thoughts.
Covered by your warmth,
dreams of tomorrow
take me to sleep.

I count the many ways
you touch my heart,
the softness
of your whispered words,
the treasured hold
of arms that surround,
eyes that reach and pull me
into their depths.

Lonely, I shall never be,
as long as you lay
between my nakedthoughts...
