But Not Your Lies

I can see it
in your eyes,
what you tried
to hide,
but it's over...
no need to lie,
any more.
Yes I'll be gone
when you wake up,
gone with the sunrise.
I could see
in your eyes,
even tonight
when you loved me,
you lied.
I'll search
and I'll search,
but know I'll never find
a love like you;
but I've got to go...
loving you,
remembering you,
missing you,
but not your lies.

Hey, a darker piece coming from you? yea, well it still holds that softness, and in this piece, makes it more moving. Really shows the hurt of the subject, who knows what he has to do, but fights the pain of the truth.
Well done.

With the word, I am mighty, with the pen I am free..
