Misconception

Confused by the lines of communication
Not realizing the ramifications
Of my words left untied
Hanging loose, undefined
Leaving doubt of my intent
The mixed messages I had sent
This world is full of change
And in all that has remained
Know that all is true
Visions past, now not renewed
There lies in each a special time
Of spoken words, and those unsaid
Broken dreams put to the test
So look real deep inside
And mend those things untied
Left to dangle in the way
Of what life holds today.

"left to Dangle"

Particularly liked that line

Oh yeah do I ever know this feeling...you could have been writing this for me...or did ya? lol...

Ignore those who would clip your wings...fly ever upward...even if it means scorched wings

Hey Rich...nice job on this! and didja know? In 1990-91--I held the title of "Miss Conception"--the kids are 18 months apart, LOL...and that's right world, it was MISS..not MRS.--and remains so.

But yes, communication is a tricky thing at times...especially in "type".

Thanks for the read...still looking for that sonnet though..HINT HINT HINT...Nice work!!!

Hey...at least I found it.
You know I love you, (and everyone else knows too...I do hope you saved the duet---you are writing so beautifully these days--and I could use the publicity! winkie-wink?)

Many hugs, lovely one.
