Deep in the heart

0 posted 2000-11-28 06:53 PM

Merry, smiling, beautiful eyes that are
Intent, yet roguish in their merriment.
Ceaselessly sparkling, lovely pools.  A far,
Heavenly, yes, stellar embodiment.
Ethereal beauty I could drown in
Lest I take great care.  Soft and soothing, your
Eyes hold me in their tender grasp.  No sin,
May I say, for your gaze seems to explore,
Yet concurrently caress my being.
Blessed by your look I am a captive,
Ever in your service, to be seeing
Limitless horizons and be active,
Like a friendship should.  Together we will
Experience life 'til we've had our fill.

Live for love. Without love, you don't live.

Very nicely said.

'Ethereal beauty I could drown in
Lest I take great care.'

If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.

Thanks.  Your heart should be touched softly.

Thank you VERY much.  I always appreciate your stopping by my poor attempts at poetry.
