Listening to every heart

eyelids close in sleep
soft sighs raise from within deep
dreams come on the wind

soft sigh brings on dreams
visions of you can be seen
on eyelids serene

deep breath lifts sweet sigh
too soon the night shall pass by
sun will rise again

I love haiku, though am not very good at it. This is truly lovely. wonderful writing.

Look within the heart of a poet, and you will see a reflection of their soul.

greet Sunshine anon
she rises to zenith now
and remains aloft

warming us each day
giving slowly to the night
promising return

greet Sunshine anon
taking away lonely night
promising new life

sun rises too soon
I long to walk with the moon
for a while longer

Well done, Sunshine.
