Ramblin' On

I've been thinking about our relationship
and how you don't seem to have very much time for me
and I'm trying to accept this truth.
And I kind of understand how I must adjust my feelings accordingly
or perhaps you could accept the fact that I need someone willing to give a little more.
I know that I told you before that I wanted more time
and I also told you I would settle for a little time
if the other option was no time.
Come to find out that arrangement isn't working out so well for me.
I feel I still need more of your company.
That's my desire and that's my need.
Perhaps you don't see eye to eye with me.
Are you giving as much as you can give
or only as much as you care to give?
I'm willing to try a little longer hoping for the chance our bond will still grow stronger.
And as time goes by my hearts desire will come to me
and you will give more time to me.
If I am willing to wait maybe our day will come.
Perhaps that day is not so very far away.
Could also be true that there is not a day
bearing our name so there is no way.
Has this only been a cruel game for us to play?
Soon we will know because my heart won't let me play
games for too long.
My heart will say "The time has come to put that game away and ramble on."

James,
you can ramble on any day, 'cause you do it with such style.

How very sad. I hope she will give you all you need. Love takes work to keep it alive but the work is not work at all when you are in love. Thank you so much for the read.
