Poet deVine went shopping with her friend named wayoutwalt drove home alone, she said but it wasn’t really her fault Seems Walt likes to shop real fast from store to store you see And deVine saunters ‘round agog at the holiday finery Walt was in the toy store, playing with a set of trains DeVine was in the bookstore, trying out her brains Walt was in Godiva drooling at confectionery DeVine was in the bookstore perusing a dictionary Walt ran over to hardware to find a set of tools DeVine was in the bookstore reading “Robert’s Rule” Eating lunch at Burger King, Walt planned his next move DeVine was in the bookstore with ‘Stella and Her Groove’ Stores closing, lights turned out, Walt was ready to leave DeVine was in the bookstore about to get the heave Without a ride from deVine, Walt boarded a bus to his house DeVine walked to her car alone, thinking Walt was such a louse! The moral of the story can be seen within this rhyme Be sure you have a shopping plan this year at Christmastime And if you are asked to shop along with deVine or wayoutwalt Remember if you’re left behind, it’s really not YOUR fault. |

Yanno? I hate to shop, but I would love to go on this trip...normally I would be the bookstore browser too...but it would be tempting to see a mall at christmas through walt's eyes...either way sounds like fun...next time...CALL ME!!! |

LOL!!!! Shopping with wayoutwalt would be the thing that Wes Craven's dreams are made of!  (but it would sure be fun!!)...as it would be with you, deVine one!this is very cute....  |

Sharon- LOL...this is really cute! I can picture Walt shopping just as you've described too... I'd probably be hanging out with you in the bookstore...I can spend all day just looking and reading. I think MY version is correct..Walt has me leaping and spitting...I am a lady and do neither of those...except of course at those half price book sales!  |
