Silent Music

There is music that’s swirling around in my heart
Yearning for lyrics that I should impart
This delicate song, this incredible tune
Must be written in haste or will vanish too soon

The most glorious visions like petals unfold
And would be lost forever if never been told
Imagine the splendor and joy of a rose
Hidden deep in a place that the world never knows

The dreams and the magical thoughts that are ours
When written on paper have  mystical powers
In finely spun phrases caressing the page
A poem left to treasure for many an age

There is music unheard, there are visions untold
There are secrets the spirit will never unfold
There is silence of word, there is silence of tongue
Depriving our hearts of a song left unsung

How sad  silent music that’s swirling around
The sweetest refrains within hearts ever bound
And so from my pen, my true sentiment flows
And thus my descendants will capture the rose

Liz; Exquisite as usual, Our own personal song is what you hear perhaps, your song that you sing to God, alone. I tried  to call you today,, but can't get through...Love, Ellie

Liz,

This is so lovely.  So well written.  Even after we are gone, our words shall live forever in the hearts of those we touched.

Hearts filled with love will never die
They’re heard by all of us who cry
Words like yours that speak of me so
Speak volumes to me where they grow

Never stop writing Liz - please

Liz,
I'm sorry but I've always seemed to wait to respond. You remember how I used to bring you up from 70 pages gone by. I miss those days. Your words are some of the most beautiful I've ever heard. Shoot... I'm fumbling for words. Prayers are still coming your way. I've been up all night again... Looks like good 'ol Bill Yeats has been around too. I shouldn't be telling you... We're, (RJ and I are) starting to miss you and you haven't even really been gone. Tony is still my screen saver but now of all things he's reminding me to pray for you. Ironic how he can still speak to me... you just take your own dear sweet time Mrs. Tony Santos.  So much much love

dale and RJ. love and prayers

This is a keeper, very, very well done.

What is that you express in your eyes? It seems to me more than all the words I have read in my life.
