Uncontrollable Season, Yet Be Thankful

Well trimmed and tamed the earth
in summer time,
but with fall progressing the loss of
control begins to
march upon the land giving way to
changing season.

From darkest green to yellows and
gold’s the canopy
begins a changing of dress, giving
way to nudity’s
ambiance, with much gracefulness
and vigor having
only one direction “completeness”.

Timely the coming of the wind as well,
for what better way
to leave the stage than to float ever
so elegantly towards
permanent peace, marking another
chapter in the
never ending cycle of life.

The chill in the air and the crackling
under foot of tossed
colorful remnants gives the heart
and soul a feeling
of marriage to the seasons festivities
thus we give thanks
for that which has given of its self in
free’ness and abundance.

The absolute drenching shall cleanse
and wash away all
impurities strewn about giving a sense
of freshness and free’ness
to the earth, hence uncontrollable yet
awe inspiring to say
the least the changing of the seasons.

So be thankful, be well, give of your self
freely, for this season is
just a resting of nature’s magnificent rein.
Soon she will yet again
hold not a single seed back, all will go
forth in splendid glory to
shine in the seasonal sun and warmth
of Her loving embrace.

Cerenity,
Very well done, keep the writing coming. Loved it very much.

This is just a lovely, lovely piece from your pen.
Such a vivid display of thoughts.
What a pleasure to read.

As a nature lover, this one really caught my eye.  IT was well expressed.

What is that you express in your eyes? It seems to me more than all the words I have read in my life.

Hi
Denise, Marge, Irish Rose

Thank you ladies for your loving replys, Oh I miss being able to be here at passions so much, and I mentally miss reading the poetry here, but most of all my friends, I've taken on a job that eats up all of my time it seems and I already hate it, but it is a must in order to stay a float as they say! Im trying to figure out some kind of routine so I can spend time here at passions, thank you again and I miss all of you so much.

Love, Cerenity
