Whispered Breath, Loves Sign

Whispered breath strokes my sensitive ears
Lifting your chest to graze my alabaster breast
Taking mere seconds and then lasting years
Making a torture of this respite of this soft rest
Grazing in wonder my love overflows in tears
Your laughter echoes within your teasing chest

Touches that tantalise and hands that tease
You lead and I follow in this lovers kiss chase
The fires of desire lie quiet as we take our ease
My love I know you want to speed up the pace
Your heat translates to me and I whisper please
Flames that were slumbering, leap and then race

Desire flares as heat sparks from you to me
Tasting the intoxicating wine in your loves kiss
I'm drunk on your kisses and who wouldn't be
With flames leaping between us at just a kiss
Is this the reality of loves fire, loves mystery
My heart is aflame and it's your touch I miss

Reason is lost when your heart touches mine
And sense seems to play no part of love at all
It isn't sane to lose all track of space and time
But my body, my spirit respond to your siren call
Worlds could collide and I'd think life was fine
You only had to touch me and you knew I'd fall
My soul couldn't hide she recongnized loves sign

And what did that sign say??

Perhaps that "this is an excellent poem!"

Kari love, thank you some of my older ones coming back to haunt me love. I know I wrote it, but it seems awfully long ago. Well last year as it is now 2001.

Wonderful Marsha! Beautiful sentiments filled with words of passion burning deeply throughout these lines. I loved "my soul couldn't hide" excellent wording, much enjoyed!

Best wishes for a Happy New Year!

Very beautiful and passionate words my friend.  This makes about 4 in a row I have read that I would put in the "elite" class of writing.  Your growth was no accident as you stated and this proves it.  Superb penning and excellent flow all mixed with a deep deep burning of desire.  I loved this one and it goes into my library.

Mark my friend, I thank you again, I do appreciate your comments, I find it very difficult to see any change in my work at all. I honestly do. I know we are all a little blind about our work. And maybe me more than most. Anyway thank you so much you know I have always been in awe of your writing, and I do think you have excellant taste and style. Please know that I do really value your opinion, even if I cannot bring myself to admit it is really merrited
Take care

LL, thank you poppet, isn't it good that they don't limit our libraries, mine would have collapsed long ago if they did.
