Touch me softly with your smile ignite my heart Clothed in golden dreams, shining and bright Reveal my spirit welded to you never to part Love and joy pour from you in streams of light The past is gone it's time for our futures to start The shadows of darkness removed from our sight Your love is my salvation it releases me from pain Healing my soul from its heart wrenching tears You washed me in your soul so I could live again Showed me how silly I was to run from my fears Truth brings me release for a heart driven insane For finally my heart knows exactly what she hears My senses have awakened and they are now aware I know being here with you is what I really need My spirit and soul have become the perfect pair Sight sees beauty and your love planted the seed Beauty and love are springing up just everywhere Where trust walks proudly love shall take the lead Marsha  Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |
