Blessed Contentedly I await her embrace each day Longing for her love, her sweet loving way Her emerald eyes peering deep into mine I'm clothed in affection, so warm every time I reach out to touch her, to feel her smooth skin I listen to her being, her goodness within I walk by her side, so proud and so pleased Knowing she is with me, my love now released She listened all so carefully, to what I had to said, All past mistakes and follies, to what my life has read She took me for what I am today, not for what passed with pain She showed me warmth filled sunny days, and took away my rain Perhaps her greatest love to me, as vital as all the rest Was she opened all herself to me, allowed me to love her best I feel so changed, so warm today, I now feel truly free Free to love her in the way I know how, and simply free to be me I feel good. |
