Some say I'm slightly syllabic,
...idiomatic I am not,
Onomatopoeian,
...dialectic's what I've got,
Inflected etymology,
...I've lost my lexicon,
Vocabulated diatrabes,
...acronymbal on the lawn,
I'll truncate all my variances,
...let's split infinitives,
A capital superlative,
...malapropisms, my reprieve.

Is that your participle dangling,
...there upon the floor?
You look just like my grammar,
...have we ever metaphor?
Once you were an adjective,
...now you are a pronoun,
I ran in a pentameter,
...imabic not a noun,
It's time for my sestina,
...oxymoron I've been called,
Parsing gerunds on my forehead,
...kerfuffle, going bald,
I had a preposition,
...conjugation was my aim,
Redundantly intransitive,
...possessive she became,
My car is discombobulated,
...did puncuate my tire,
Alliteration with a match,
...to meter my desire.

Christmastime at homonym,
Some eggnog with some synonym,
Parsely, sage, rosemary and rhyme,
I pay my syntax April time.

If odist seems nonsensical,
...sonnets will agree,
My object is adverbial,
...Praise be my simile!!!

I figurative it's time to go,
...causative I've talked too long,
Archaically linguistic,
...no more I will prolong.

Mike.......
Why in the world doesn't this have some replies.......especially from a bunch of wordaholics? This is fantastic, the way you put all the grammatical words into rhyme!!
Great job, and I'm bumping this back to the top where it should be!!

I understood this whole thing.....except for one word....What's an adjective?.....Is it something that's educational?....does it have something to do with math?.....Hell, I flunked a drug test?...How am I supposed to know?...I was considering getting a tutor for my next drug test.....what ya think?....Yea, I know....it'd probably be a waste of time and money right?....You're probably right....I could use that money better buying some more drugs or something?....(Marijuana won't hurt ya, won't hurt ya, won't hurt ya) Seriously Mike, this is a great piece of work....what's it like in English?....(one more thing...I think it's a real blessing to be able to speak in more than one language....where did you learn Latin anyhow)?
