Sunrise Across Aqua Pool

Across the aqua pool the sun hid
as the clouds slowly turned to pink,
delicious blotches of candy cotton
across the sky splashed ink.

I still in my dream though stuck
from warm flannel sheets became un-tucked,
and barefoot opened door to be
by crayon’s melt so awesome struck.

Across the yard in perfect soft
in color of morning sky I played,
then as quickly as the blush had come
I watched as time caused it to fade.
< !signature-->

In the dew of little things,
the heart finds its morning
and is refreshed.
(ee cummings)

I saw that sky yesterday morning, but would never have penned it this, this well...well...

Beautiful picture of the sky you've painted Martie.  You have a remarkable way with words.

Sunshine--You would have penned it better!

Ethome--Thanks for watching the sunrise with me.

Marge--thanks sweet lady.

Janet--only for you.

Balladeer--I guess that means that my rhyme is ...hmmm, oh well

Krista--thanks for the sweet reply.

Sven--thanks so much for the compliment, I appreciate it.

even this - with its brevity - is penned with such beauty - I'm in awe - could picture it - and the transition perfectly ~S~
