His underlying instinct
Cuts twixt marrow and the quick
shows heart of great compassion
with words that are not slick

His ability to care much
Reveals a heart so pure
In his eyes, soul's mirror
Truth compels and is the lure

He sees the deepest meaning
In the hearts of men
Takes the words begins to write
Reflects us back again

His style and grace are growing
As is his library
In his eyes our beauty showing
Shared with you and me

His gentle heart is open
A man among all men
I gift this poem in token
Of thanks for truth, Sir Sven.

Good poem Kethry!! Sven is really doing a class job in his affectionate reflections of fellow poets here and even though I'm still just getting to know some of them I can feel the respect he has in his words... gosh darn nice of you to write this Kethry... ethome

This is great.  I believe Sven has not been entirely recognized for his compassion and appreciation of us, but he's sure shown us hasn't he?  I loved this!

What is that you express in your eyes? It seems to me more than all the words I have read in my life.

Kethry. . . I'm just moved. . . and amazed. . . totally amazed. . . this is wonderful. . .

How incredible that you should call this "Sword of Truth". . . it's the name of a group of books that have become favorites of mine. . . and have touched my heart. . . like this poem. . .

Thank you again Kethry. . . I'm really touched that you would do this for me. . . I love it. . . thank you. . .

Kethry...outstanding!

Kethry....
What a great way to express your gratitude to Sven....
I've been so busy and am just now catching on to what
he is doing. I'm scrambling trying to catch up on all of this.

Enjoyed

Kethry, This is utterly wonderful work, if I'm the applause section then Sven is the mirror, which reflects the beauty back. His work is amazing and he has a brilliant turn of phrase. And Kethry you have mirrored him perfectly. You have shown the man of love as accurately as if you had taken a snapshot.
Love this one, I truly do.

Beautiful words Kethry, for a man that truly deserves them, I've known for nearly a year now how truly caring and compassionate he is.
I've ALWAYS been proud to call him my kindred.
Great work hon..

If I could penn Sir Sven
the pleasure would be mine
The kindest face in all the land
since the early beginning of time

His art is giving to others
that which he needs so
substitutions for the glories given
returns fullfilling his soul

He asks nothing in return for giving
acceptance is a must
who could deny this man love?
reading, within the written of his words

A man of taste and compassion
true love resides within his heart
caring for all others
comes natural as mother earth;

Sir Sven, we friends call him
his nights reign within his words
recalling his every kindess
sharing his feelings in words.
