she says i'm lost * i said she's wrong * the sky is full of stars and palms * she says i'm lost * maybe she's right * the liquor store is closed tonight * she says i'm lost * i shut away * it's time to sleep and wait for day ... before too long, the sky was palms and quiet * i told her she wouldn't want to try it * i find my mind has gone kind of blinded * i try to remind her what's hers, what's mine here she told me i was little and lost and needed to come back home * i told her maybe someday, right now i want to roam |
