I wish I had another wish
Another and another
For use of wish I must still wish
Nary about my druthers

I stop myself from wishing
For a dog or for a cat
Then my wishing would be done
And what’s the use of that

I’ve been steady in my keenness
Not to wish for worldly goods
Or that all this messy wishing
I could wish you understood

But I won’t!

I won’t wish for nothing never
I’ve accountants to keep my books
Long as wishing stays in the black
I won’t get no dirty looks

I could wish the Dallas Cowboys
Would win on Turkey Day
But that would be the biggest wish
No, a chearleader would do okay

I could wish Supercalifradgi-
Listicexpealidocious
It’s moniker not ever be thought
As something quite atrocious

But I’ve only one wish left
The first, I wished for you
The second, a great big family
With the third, I wish I knew!

I am wishing I could rhyme as well as you.  Your poem was great--from your pict I can see you're a wish come true.

Oooooh, I forgot you dislike the word "greattttt!"  I beg your forgiveness.  Let me think... Lovely?  No, not appropriate.  Um, Original?  Gosh, like you, I wish I knew.

This leaves charming smiles all around...

If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.

I remember when I could spell Supercalifradgelisticexpealidocius backwards (my sisters and I were bored one day...hehe) I wish I could do that again!! Great poem, Walt!!
